BrickWorth ("we", "us", the "App") helps you identify LEGO sets and track your collection's value.
This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell your personal data.
Information we process
Photos you scan. When you scan a set, the image is sent to our server
and to our identification provider (OpenAI) solely to recognize the item and look up its value. We do not
use your photos to train models and we do not retain them on our servers after processing. Any photo you
keep is stored locally in your collection on your device.
Your collection. Items you add are stored locally on your device. If you sign in
(optional), your collection may be synced to your private account so you can restore it.
Account information. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique
identifier and, if you allow it, your email. Sign-in is optional.
Usage analytics. We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymized usage
(e.g. screens viewed, scans performed) to improve the App.
Diagnostics. Standard technical data (app version, device type) for stability.
Third-party services
We rely on these providers, each under their own privacy terms: OpenAI (set identification), Rebrickable (set catalog & images) and BrickLink (market prices), Google Firebase (hosting, analytics, optional authentication and sync), and Apple / Google (optional Sign in). LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor or endorse this app.
How we use information
To identify scanned items and look up their value.
To store and sync your collection (locally, and to your account if you sign in).
To maintain, secure, and improve the App.
Data retention & deletion
Collection data on your device is removed when you delete the App. If you have an account, you can
delete it from Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account, which removes your synced data.
You can also email us to request deletion.
Children
BrickWorth is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your choices
You can use the App without an account. You control camera and photo access in iOS Settings.
